Ricotta is white, soft and has a slightly sweet flavor that comes from the fresh milk. Ricotta is favorably used in Italian desserts.
Ingredients
45g unsalted butter
4g baking powder
70g sugar, 1 pinch of salt
1 egg
80g Ricotta
50g flour
1/3 apple, peeled and pureed
Lemon zest and powdered sugar
Directions
Step 1 Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 2 Use a large bowl to mix butter and sugar. When the mixture is smooth, add egg, flour, baking powder, salt and beat well.
Step 3 Add Ricotta, lemon zest, mashed apples and mix well.
Step 4 Spread a layer of soft butter on the cake mold. Pour the mixture into the cake mold.
Step 5 Bake for 25 minutes until it begins to brown and flake.
Step 6 Take out and let cool about 15 minutes before serving. Use a sieve to sprinkle sugar on the cake and enjoy.
